Google news elements are being tested by FreeWebPress.com on their Google sites newspaper. The Google news element is a featured gadget on Google sites. The product works well although it appears to have defects. Adware and explorer have identified security risks with this gadget, so that when secure items only are permitted to load from a page with this gadget... then this Google news element gadget is disabled. The ability to obtain current news on any topic chosen by the user, makes this gadget valuable. Google will do well with this gadget when they correct the security issues.
